One year ago a friend of mine was telling of an experience he had with Rodrigo and how it changed him, and the way he was talking about it I immediately felt that this is for me too, that I wanted to meet with Rodrigo, working with him.

The first time I saw him I immediately just knew that I can trust in him as a person as well in his ability as a medicine man, and that he can guide me in ways I was not able to express that I wanted exactly that kind of guidance since in my western culture there was no concept for me to lean on.

So I followed my heart and said yes to the options that have been presented to me since then.

Now one year later I can confirm that my first intuition was right. Rodrigo is a great person, which would be reason enough to spend time with him. But also I can authentically encourage others to find out about his qualities as a medicine man, counsellor and guide since for me he was always providing what I needed, even when I was not able to express it. The depths of his knowledge and ability always surprise me and he helped me finding my way to myself again. Where before I felt stuck after working years on myself (including support of what the western culture was able/ willing to provide to me) I finally found the guide i always hoped I would find.

During the ceremonies I always felt safe and guided, my heart told me to trust him and by trusting my heart I was able to surrender to the process. As a result of the ceremonies, I was able to find parts of me, that I have actively neglected due to to the conditional love I experienced growing up in this society.

So over time, I have hidden these parts even from myself.

When these parts would come out the past years as a result of the ceremonies Rodrigo always gave unconditional love to me, whatever side I was allowing myself to be seen, ready to hide it immediately, should I receive the same feedback as I was used to but I found nothing but encouragement and unconditional love, which enabled me to trust myself, to allow myself to life these neglected parts of me and to observe what needed observation in order to find the lessons in them? I came to find Ce Ācatl Rodrigo in what I can only describe as a divine message by way of Instagram. I did not follow him yet received one of his posts in my feed. I was immediately drawn to his message and something deep within me knew that I needed to work with him. My first experience was a Cacao and sound healing ceremony. It was magical! From the moment I met him I knew our paths crossed for a reason. Ce Ācatl’s large energy commands the space around him, but does so with a softness and grace.

There were so many changes in me, that it was hard even for me to recognize myself. In a beneficial way. And I also felt that words couldn't describe all the experience and the love that you gave us in an unconditional way.

I grew up and struggled all my life, believing that I didn't deserve to be loved, and that God was disappointed by me. How did you found me and what was key for your decision to work with me?

Well, it happened as you know. First we’ve met in a container where you were co-facilitating medicine, but we had to end it sooner cause the organizer was out of alignment. The key decision of going forward with you was trusting your integrity and seeing your devotion to your work and service.
